An Elemental Circle Casting with Love
This is the circle casting that I almost always use in my rituals. It centers love and I wrote it with Aphrodite in mind, though it can absolutely be used in rituals with other Deities. It also gently invokes the elements. Enjoy!
Adaptive Spiritual Practice for Pagans and Witches: A Response to Challenging Times (Yet Againโฆ) – Part Two
In this post, we will cover how to navigate changes in your practice, including examining your view of devotion and trying new things. Cultivating an adaptive spiritual practice needs to take place in the context of your life. This means that you have to leave space for the unexpected and acknowledge your need for rest.
Adaptive Spiritual Practice for Pagans and Witches: A Response to Challenging Times (Yet Againโฆ) – Part One
Iโve been revisiting my old blog posts from 2020, and wow, some of them are hitting just as hard five years later. I feel like weโve descended back into a time of chaos and uncertainty, where we are inundated with dozens of awful headlines each day. The overwhelm is real, and I feel like everyone I know is surviving, not thriving.
Workings of the Witch: Magick and Spells

Connecting with Aphrodite: A Ritual Template – COMPLETE GUIDE
I hope you have enjoyed this series on a Ritual Template for your spiritual practice! Since the posts have been spread out across a span of time and arenโt necessarily one after the other, I thought it might be helpful to compile them into one comprehensive guide.
Connecting with Aphrodite: A Ritual Template – Returning to the Here and Now
I use the phrase โReturning to the Here and Nowโ to encompass a few different ideas, but most fall under the large umbrella of Grounding. Why specifically do we want to ground after a ritual? Grounding connects you back to the Earth, to yourself, and back to this time and place.
Beltane Ritual 2024 – You Deserve Joy!
I led the following Beltane ritual on calling more joy into your life for my Pagan group last Sunday. Today (May 1st) is traditional Beltane. Astronomical Beltane (the official calendar midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice) falls on May 4th this year. To me, Beltane is a season - I celebrate for about a fortnight centered around the beginning of May.
Connecting with Aphrodite: A Ritual Template – Gratitude
Gratitude is an essential part of any spiritual practice, whether it is in the context of a ritual or not. It is a part of a reciprocal relationship with the Divine - an energetic exchange with the universe that can cultivate deeper connection.
Flames of the Firebird – Communing with the Energy of the Phoenix – October Full Moon Ritual
The Firebird reminds us that even when life or a particular situation feels like itโs going up in flames, beautiful things can be born from the ashes. Sometimes closely-held dreams and fears have to die so that we can continue on โ so that we can grow and evolve.ย This October Full Moon ritual invokes the energy of the Firebird for transformation.
