I don’t do many holiday posts, but I realized I had to post something for Imbolc this year when I spotted a buttercup on my snowy hike a little over a week ago. North Carolina doesn’t typically get that much snow, so every time we do, I make a point to go out and frolic in it. As I was searching for an optimal sledding spot, I found this buttercup poking up through the snow. This is definitely not the time of year I normally see them (usually April/May), but it seemed reminiscent of the snowdrops that traditionally poke through the snow around Imbolc in Europe.
Bright blessings to you this Imbolc!
